Datastore tool
The Chatvolt AI DataStore tool allows you to create and manage knowledge bases for your chatbot agents. Here are the key points on how to use it:
Creating a DataStore
- Access the “DataStore” menu in the Chatvolt AI Dashboard.
- Click on “Create a DataStore” to create a new knowledge base.
- Choose a name for the knowledge base.
- Select the “Public” option if the knowledge base can be used by public agents on your website or WhatsApp.
- Click “Continue” and choose the type of the first data source you want to add.
Supported Data Types
Files: PDF, CSV, JSON, TXT, PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Websites: Load an entire website. Videos: Load a video or a YouTube channel (the system transcribes the audio to text). Notion documents.
Linking to the Agent
- Access the “Agents” menu in the Dashboard.
- Select the agent you want to link.
- Go to “Settings” and then “Tools”.
- Find the “Datastore” option and click the ”+” button.
- Choose your DataStore and click save.
- Adding New Data Sources
- Access the DataStore menu and select the created DataStore.
- Add new data sources as needed.
This tool is essential to ensure that your chatbot has access to accurate and up-to-date information, improving the quality of the responses provided to users.
