  • Creators: the person who creates and distributes Chatvolt
  • Website visitors: people who visit our marketing landing page

Chatvolt is the provider of this service and not the owner of the collected data. The creator (the person who created the chatbot) is responsible for the data they collect and, therefore, is the data controller of the respondent’s data.

2. What Data We Collect

Information we collect from Creators (you have a Chatvolt account and are using our service) or Website Visitors (you are visiting our website).

  • Electronic identification data: including IP address, device and browser data, and location data;
  • Information about your use of our site: including how you arrived at our site and the pages you visited.
  • Registration information: When you register for an account, we collect your first name, last name, username, password, and email address.
  • Billing information: If you pay for a Chatvolt service, we will ask for your billing details, name, address, and financial information depending on your payment method (stored by our payment service provider Stripe)
  • Chatbot data: We store your chatbot data for you and provide tools for you to use in relation to this data.

3. How We Use Your Data

Chatvolt does not sell personal data to third parties nor use it for marketing purposes or to serve ads. We have no interest in collecting non-anonymized data from non-registered users of Chatvolt.

We only collect your data with your consent or to:

  • Deliver our service to you
  • Improve your user experience
  • Send emails with essential product updates
  • Troubleshoot product functionality issues and fix bugs
  • Respond to legal requests or prevent fraud

4. Data We Share

We only share your information with our service providers who help us operate our business, in which case these third parties are required to comply with the LGPD (General Data Protection Law) framework.

5. Data Retention

If you are a Chatvolt chatbot creator, we do not delete the data in your account. You are responsible for the duration you store the data. You can delete data in your Chatvolt account. If you are a respondent, you will need to ask the creator how long your responses will be stored on Chatvolt.

We honor all deletions, and all chatbot data that has been deleted by the chatbot creator are permanently deleted from our backups within 90 days.

6. Data Obtained Through Google Workspace APIs (Google Drive)

Users of our application, Chatvolt, use the Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train custom AI agent models directly on our platform. We are committed to ensuring that the data obtained through the Google Workspace APIs is used exclusively to provide and improve the results of the AI agents created by the users themselves. We do not retain user data from these APIs for any purposes related to the development, improvement, or training of AI or machine learning models that are not directly linked to the specific needs of the users.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

As our Privacy Policy states, if you have submitted your personal data through a Chatvolt chatbot, the creator of that chatbot is responsible for that data. Chatvolt only processes this data on behalf of the creator. Chatvolt creators can exercise their rights directly with us, but respondents must contact the person or organization that created the chatbot. If this is not possible, please contact us. We will assist in any way we can.

8. Marketing

If visitors register on Chatvolt, we may send them emails about company news, updates, product or service-related information, etc. Chatbot creators always have the right to opt out of these email communications.

They are widely used to make a website work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. Chatvolt is based in Brazil, and all chatbot and user data are stored in the USA. Your data may be processed in countries outside the USA and Brazil by third parties who help us operate Chatvolt.

By using Chatvolt, chatbot creators signify their acceptance of this policy. If chatbot creators do not agree with this policy, they should not use Chatvolt. Continued use of Chatvolt following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. In circumstances where a change materially alters how we collect or use your personal information or data, we will send a notice of this change to all our account holders.
